The Year of the Priest Official Contest Rules

Contest begins September 1, 2009 and ends March 31, 2010. Priests are automatically entered with any purchase of a Fireside Catholic Publishing product. Entries can also be submitted by mailing a 3" x 5" index card with your name, street address, city, state, zip code, daytime telephone and signature to Fireside Catholic Publishing, Year of the Priest contest, PO Box 780189, Wichita, KS 67278-0189. There is no purchase necessary, but to be eligible, you must be a Catholic priest at a parish or diocese in the United States of America. One (1) entry per priest is allowed.

All entries must be received by Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 6 p.m. Central Standard Time. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received.

Grand prize is a cash payment to cover the cost of two (2) round trip airline tickets to Rome, two (2) hotel rooms in the Rome Metropolitan Area with a seven (7) nights' accommodation and an allowance per person per day for meals. Total will not exceed $10,000. Winner will be announced no later than April 8, 2010. Prize will be awarded as a check payable to the winner and is reportable as income.
